Reverend Samuel Eugene DeWitt was lead to Baker’s Chapel upon direction of the Lord, in May 2010. It is his pleasure to serve in a spirit filled church along side of people who have a passion to worship God.
He is a Pentecostal preacher filled with the Holy Ghost and preaching the word of God. He is God called and preaches what God lays on his heart out of the love for people.
Reverend DeWitt grew up in Johnston County NC. As a young man, he traveled singing Southern Gospel music as the lead singer for groups such as The Proclaimers and The Throne of Grace.
In 1999, Brother DeWitt married Jill Wall of Clayton NC. He is the father of three wonderful boys, Dennis, Ricky, and Jacob. He is also the grandfather of 4 beautiful boys, Jayden, Jackson, Grant, and Lane.
He inherited 2 beautiful daughter in LOVES, Jessica and Jordan.
They have a burden to reach the Smithfield Township with the Gospel message of Jesus Christ and to minister to the needs of the extended family of the Johnston County area.
